Color concept, guidance system and decoration for the seven floor stairwell of The Circus Apartments. Due to the strict fire protection regulations for the new building, the choice of materials that could be used was very limited. A rope (fire protection class B1) winds itself from the basement to the top floor, serving as a “leading line” and forming the numbering on the levels. Around 150 birds inhabit the stairwell and like to perch on the rope.
